Getting Started

Getting Started

Call us at (561) 787-9494 or book a free 15-minute consultation online. We'll match you with the right clinician, verify your insurance at no cost, and get you scheduled โ€” usually within the same week.

We typically have same-week availability, and most new clients are seen within 3 to 5 business days. That's considerably faster than the South Florida average, where waitlists commonly run 4 to 8 weeks.

Yes. We offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and get a feel for whether we're the right fit before committing to a first session.

For self-pay, no referral is ever required. For insurance, PPO plans generally don't require one. Some HMO plans โ€” and certain UnitedHealthcare Navigate plans โ€” may require a referral from your primary care physician. We check this for you during your free benefits verification.

Individual and child/teen sessions are 50 minutes. Couples and family sessions are 60 minutes. Your first intake appointment runs longer, about 60 to 75 minutes, so we can gather history and understand what you're looking for.

Insurance & Cost

Insurance & Cost

Yes. We are credentialed in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield / Florida Blue, UnitedHealthcare, and Devoted Health Plans โ€” including their Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, and UHC Community Plan (Florida Medicaid). We verify your benefits for free before your first session.

Individual therapy is $100 for a 50-minute session. Child and teen therapy is also $100. Couples and family therapy is $130 for 60 minutes. ADHD and autism therapy sessions are $150. Comprehensive ADHD evaluations start at $200. Rates are identical whether you meet in person or online. A sliding scale may be available โ€” just ask at booking. We accept credit cards and HSA/FSA.

Copays vary by plan, so we won't quote a number that might turn out to be wrong. Across our in-network plans, therapy copays commonly fall in the $20 to $60 range after any deductible, and many Medicare Advantage plans have little to no copay for behavioral health. Give us your plan details and we'll verify your exact benefits for free before you're charged anything.

Often yes, through the BlueCard Program, which lets out-of-state BCBS members receive in-network care in Florida. Call us at (561) 787-9494 and we'll verify your out-of-state BCBS coverage at no charge.

Yes. Florida law and federal mental health parity rules require telehealth therapy to be covered at the same rate as in-person care under virtually all our in-network plans. Online sessions are billed identically to in-office sessions.

Some plans require prior authorization after a certain number of visits. We submit the authorization for you at no cost and handle all communication with the insurer directly โ€” you don't need to manage it.

Telehealth & Location

Telehealth & Location

Our office is at 4300 Miller Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, with free parking on site. This is our only physical location. We also offer online therapy to anyone located anywhere in Florida.

West Palm Beach is our only office. We regularly see clients from Lake Worth (10โ€“15 minutes away), Boynton Beach (20โ€“25 minutes), Wellington (20โ€“30 minutes), Delray Beach (25โ€“35 minutes), and throughout Palm Beach County. If the drive isn't practical, telehealth is available anywhere in Florida.

Yes. Peer-reviewed research consistently shows equivalent outcomes between telehealth and in-person therapy for most conditions, and the therapeutic relationship forms just as strongly. You see the same clinicians using the same evidence-based approaches.

We use a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted healthcare platform โ€” deliberately not Zoom or FaceTime. Sessions are encrypted in transit and at rest, are never recorded by third parties, and require no app download. You join through a secure link we email you, from any phone, tablet, or computer.

Yes. Florida law requires you to be physically located in Florida at the time of your session, because our clinicians hold Florida licenses. You don't need to be a Florida resident โ€” but you do need to be in the state when the session takes place.

Services & Who We Treat

Services & Who We Treat

Anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum support, grief and loss, anger management, stress and burnout, relationship and family conflict, teen and child behavioral concerns, life transitions, and immigration-related stress. We also offer couples therapy, family therapy, parent coaching, and our Wellness Intelligence (WiQ) program.

Yes. We see children from age 4 through teens age 17, with play-based approaches for our youngest clients. We also offer parent coaching, family sessions, and school coordination โ€” including ADHD evaluations used for IEPs and school accommodations in Palm Beach County.

Yes, natively โ€” not through an interpreter. Dr. Adriano Rojas and Danaisys Olivera are fully bilingual and provide all our services in Spanish. You can switch between English and Spanish within a session, and we offer bilingual family sessions when parents and children prefer different languages. We also have a Portuguese-speaking clinician, Glauco Tria Cusciano.

Our therapists are licensed mental health counselors and psychologists, not psychiatrists, so they do not prescribe. We do provide psychiatric referrals and coordinate care with prescribers when medication may be helpful. You will never be pressured toward medication.

It depends on what you're working through. Many people see meaningful improvement in 8 to 12 sessions of CBT for anxiety or depression. Single-incident trauma often takes 12 to 20 sessions; complex trauma takes longer. Couples work commonly runs 8 to 24 sessions depending on the issue. There is no minimum commitment โ€” you decide how long to continue.

WiQ is our four-week integrated wellness program combining four therapy sessions, four nutrition sessions, four fitness sessions, and two nursing assessments. It's available to all ages and adapted for chronic health conditions. The program runs $1,000 to $1,300. The therapy component is often billable to insurance; the nutrition, fitness, and nursing components are typically self-pay.

Privacy & What to Expect

Privacy & What to Expect

Yes. Your sessions are protected under HIPAA. The narrow legal exceptions are Florida mandatory reporting requirements: suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, and imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else. Your therapist will explain these clearly at your first session.

We share themes, progress, and any safety concerns with parents, but not a transcript of what your child says. Teens in particular need confidentiality to engage honestly. For younger children, parents are involved much more directly. Your therapist will set clear expectations with everyone at the start.

Your first appointment is an intake, running 60 to 75 minutes. Your therapist will ask about what brought you in, relevant history, and what you'd like to be different. You set the pace โ€” you're never required to discuss anything you're not ready to discuss, particularly with trauma.

No. Trauma-informed care begins with safety and stabilization, not with retelling the event. Many clients spend early sessions building coping and grounding skills before approaching the trauma itself โ€” and some never need to recount it in detail at all. You control the pace.

Crisis Support

Crisis Support
